Get Down ...Downtown looking for Volunteers

CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS:

Get Down...Downtown has been set for September 25-26, 2009, in historic downtown Searcy!  We had a great event last year that drew nearly 10,000 people and we're expecting a bigger and better weekend for 2009.  We're featuring two days of art, music, concessions, vendors, and entertainment from the Courthouse Square to Spring Park.  We'll conclude the festival Saturday night after Nashville recording band Shenandoah performs on the Hoffmann Architectural Stage.
 
MAIN STREET SEARCY NEEDS VOLUNTEERS TO MAKE THIS EVENT A SUCCESS!  We need volunteers for drink and shirt stands, children's activities, stage areas, hospitality, etc.  Volunteers signing up for four-hour shifts will get a free  2009 Get Down...Downtown festival shirt!
